How fit do I need to be and how do I register?
Everyone has a starter point that is unique. Completing our registration questionnaire is the first step. This informs VF of any current and previous injury and/ or illness. One of the VF team will be in touch to find out which sessions you are interested in.
Where, when and what time are the sessions?
We have a selection of sessions throughout the week. Click here to see the class timetable.
VF Classic meeting point is at our fitness studio at the Wessex Hotel, Bournemouth. Join in the early bird programme or the evening sessions. VF also run 2 outdoor sessions each week in Poole. More info here.
What should I bring?
It is always recommended to bring a bottle of water or energy drink. A sweat towel to keep the mat personal. Dress appropriately for the weather and always handy to bring a spare top for changing into afterward. Valuables are locked and secure during any outdoor sessions.
Am I in safe hands?
Velocity Fitness Instructors are qualified, experienced, insured and first aid trained. With innovative, intuitive and motivational mindsets that will leave you knowing you got the best out of yourself. Physically, they practice what they preach. This is an experienced approach that will help you identify how to maximise your training time.
How much is the session and how do I pay?
Are there any car park charges, changing facilities and showers?
Yes, yes and yes. There is free parking in the Wessex Hotel car park for all our clients. Ladies and gents changing rooms with showers available for all VF clients. Perfect to get ready for work after training.
Can I bring my bike?
We positively encourage you to cycle to your session before you walk it back. It can be stored within our studio rooms.
Is this a mixed ability and gender session?
Yes. Men and woman from the age of 16 benefit from this programme. Once ability level is established then your instructor will ensure that you are working progressively and coach you to improve your level.

Nutritional guidelines are delivered to help clients to improve knowledge, confidence and influence healthy choices.
Specific individual nutritional planning is only delivered on a one to one basis as a separate consultation package. Losing weight is a balance of following a healthy nutritious eating plan and increasing intensity/ frequency spent exercising. A nutritionist can be recommended for clients who require in depth analysis.
The Zig Zag path, pictured below, is a 3 min jog to the bottom from the VF Studio. From the bottom it is a 6 min effort back to your house keys! VF call it incentive.
